# How do I create a user in GDash?

To create a new user in GDash, you must go to the account settings in settings and then click on account.

Then click on Users section, add new user

Choose whether you wish to add a customer or a team member

Once you've done that, you'll be directed to the page where you'll find all your registered users.

A confirmation e-mail will then be sent to the user you have just registered for password creation.

By clicking on the link, the user will have to set up a password, accept the terms of use and privacy and click save

That's it! The new user is now registered and can access GDash.

It's worth noting the differences between a client user and a technician user: the client only has access to information about their plant, while the technician has access to all plants, but still has some restrictions compared to the integrator profile (the technician can't access account settings and can't deactivate plants). Here is an example of the view of each of these users in GDash:

Customer:
